Quote of the Day

1 Corinthians 12:4-6
4There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. 6There are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.

Did you notice that all gifts are given to all men, worked by God?
Pretty cool, I guess I need to start exercising my gifts a little more - ekballism and healing and miracles come to mind as those I have neglected.

Ya, Dave; God is no respector of persons (He has no favorites)- if the Apostle Paul could do it so can you. By the way, what is ekballism? Is this something that can help my golf game?? Dave Youngdale

Dave,
Ekballism is the special Church name for casting out demons....one of those good ten dollar words from seminary...kinda like hermeneutics- preaching.
And my wife made a good point to me in passing, "all men" really ought to read all people - it isn't gender specific.
God help me for all the mistakes I have made.
Peace,

I love this passage and also where Paul says, "eagerly desire the spiritual gifts." I need to continue seeking how I can be used by God through his giftings. Thanks for the reminder!
