I am a pastor in the United Methodist Church. I have a beautiful and wonderful wife and children. I grew up in Bishop, California (the Mule Capital of the World - thank you very much!) I attended Emory University and the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa.

I agree with John Meunier's comment that it's troublesome that one's religious views (belief in Christianity, in this case) have no impact on whether or not torture should be allowed. There are many political issues that seem to be in disharmony with Christianity.
